There is no rewiring required for this mod other than inserting a power diode within the lighting harness.

1 x 1N5408(3A 1000V) power diode is required for this mod.

At this stage it is a good idea to remove the battery connections. Removing the plastic cover beneath the steering column will allow you to isolate the required connector. A single screw located near the lower left of the plastic and the bonnet release piece will need to be removed. Once the Combination switch connector has been located which is blue in colour (see pic 2) and insert the power diode into the relevant location (white with black trace = - and red with white trace = +) The diode is just be pushed into place and secured with tape without the need to solder this is my preferred method. Take care here and note the position of the diode, the end with the silver cap must be the right way round and pushed into the white with black trace. That's it......pull back the stalk and make sure the head lamps go up and down when released.
