The Gas Bonnet Prop upgrade is very easy to do and saves all the messing around when you pop the bonnet and then have to fumble around with the std prop whilst holding up the bonnet. Here's what you need to have a go at this mod for yourself.

1 x Old Gas Strut from the tailgate

1 x piece of 6" long 3 mm thick right angle steel or alloy

2 x nut and bolt (for the top mounting)

1 x drill and a selection of drill bits

2 x plastic lugs or big pot rivets
